200 Days of Hair - From Long Locks to the Big Chop | |||
| |||
Hey everyone! For the past 200 days, I've been on a hair-growing adventure. It's been quite the journey, letting my hair grow freely, and now, as I get ready for junior year, it's time for a big change. Yes, I'm talking about the big chop—saying goodbye to my long locks and starting fresh. The experience of watching my hair grow over these months has been full of surprises. There were awkward stages where it seemed like my hair couldn’t decide whether it wanted to be short or long. But eventually, it reached a point where I could proudly call it a mop. There were moments when I thought about just giving in and cutting it early. But I stuck with it, and I'm glad I did. Now, as the end of this hair journey is in sight, I feel both excited and a bit nostalgic. It's like closing one chapter and opening another, and I'm ready for it. "The only constant in life is change," Heraclitus once said, and my hair journey is a testament to that. Each day brought a little change, which added up to a big difference. Now, as I prepare for the haircut, I'm curious about what style I’ll choose. Will I keep it safe, or will I go for something totally new and bold? The beauty of hair is that it offers endless possibilities. It can be an expression of who we are, or who we want to be. And with each cut, we can reinvent ourselves in small but meaningful ways. So, as I stand on the brink of this big hair decision, I feel a rush of anticipation. What will the next style be? How will it change my look or even how I feel about myself? It's exhilarating to think about. I'm looking forward to walking out of the salon with a brand new look. It's not just about the physical transformation, but also about the mental refresh it brings. A new haircut can feel like a new beginning. As I say goodbye to my long hair, I'm grateful for the journey it's taken me on. It's taught me patience and allowed me to embrace a part of myself that I hadn't fully appreciated before. And now, I'm excited for the next chapter. Whatever hairstyle comes next, I’m ready to rock it. Here's to new beginnings, new looks, and new adventures with my hair! "Life is about change, sometimes it's painful, sometimes it's beautiful, but most of the time it's both." - Kristin Kreuk So, let’s see what the future holds for my hair and me. It's been a wild ride, and I’m just getting started!
