Thinking about the Public Dataset and Open API provided for the Authorized People

I was thirsty to access school information system like dining hall menu, and found interesting API at https://courses.illinois.edu/cisdocs/api which provides course schedule information and its detail.

Of course, we don't need to use the API directly because we have the Illinois App, of course, but if it is available to all authorized people including students, it will help us create another synergy similar to Google Maps. Who knows if it helps us to create another business opportunity?

I also had additional research what kind of data is provided for public at UIUC, and I found valuable site - https://www.uillinois.edu/data which provides valuable information like below:

One of the interesting data is Alumni Locations: United States, Canada, China, Korea, Taiwan, India, Japan and etc.

I wanted to know if anyone in North Korea had graduated from UIUC, and I discovered that seven people had. I questioned whether that us actually feasible.

When we take a look at the state-based location in the United States, the #1 location is Illinois and #2 is California. Since I am from California, I'm glad to hear that many of my graduates still call that state home.
