As I walked in, the air was electric with excitement. Cheerleaders were flipping and tumbling, the band was blaring out tunes that could wake the dead, and I swear I saw a few teachers doing the Macarena in the corner. Now, I don't know about you, but hearing our principal pump us up like we were about to storm the gates of Troy was equal parts inspiring and hilarious. I mean, who knew Mr. Johnson had such a way with words?
