The LoL World Championship 2024 (LoL Worlds 2024) seeding was revealed on January 4th, 2024, through Riot's official announcement, with 20 seeds being allocated. The group draw for each seed was then announced on September 9th.

The difference from the previous year's Worlds is the reduction from 22 to 20 teams. Following the merger of several minor leagues implemented last year, the LJL was integrated into the PCS, resulting in the loss of one seed. However, to maintain an even number of teams in the Play-In stage, the WQS seed was also removed.

Specifically, due to LCK and LPL dominating LEC and LCS in all recent international tournaments, the three seeds from LEC and LCS were relegated from their previous direct entry into the Swiss Stage to the Play-In stage. Furthermore, with a return to only 12 teams directly qualifying for the Swiss Stage, the number of teams advancing from the Play-In stage increased from 4 to 8 teams.
