Back in the winter of 2023, there was a LoL Worlds 2023 Final match, which created a still-sweat scene.

T1 showed the best sense of play in the final match against Weibo Gaming. Although T1 gave up the kill to Weibo Gaming in the beginning of the first set, it turned the tables as 'Owner' Moon Hyun-joon's Lee Shin showed off great performance in a massive skirmish that took place 15 minutes later. In the second set, T1 swept the kill from the beginning, showing the perfection of allowing Weibo Gaming only one kill.

T1, who played the game in a similar manner to the first set in the third set, set the stage for a reversal as "Faker" Lee Sang-hyuk's Akali stirred up the opponent's side, and achieved two aces, confirming a 3-0 complete victory in the set score and lifting the summoner's cup for the first time in seven years.

T1 has been a "Chinese killer" for this year's LOL World Cup. Having started the game by beating LPL No. 2 seed Billy Gaming 2-0 in the Swiss stage's 2-1 group match, T1 beat LPL No. 3 seed Linings Gaming 3-0 in the quarterfinals.

T1's top liner "Zeus" Choi Woo-je was selected as the MVP of the final. Choi Woo-je performed the best by winning several solo kills against 2018 LOL World Cup winner "The Shy" Kang Seung-rok.
